Paella & Sangría Cooking Workshop
Eating Paella and drinking Sangría is a must when visiting Spain. But if on top of that you learn how to cook them, the experience will be superb!
The Paella and Sangría Cooking Experience is divided in 4 steps:
Step 1: Shopping! We meet at the Central Market where we will spend an hour approx. Along with a guide you will buy all the best quality ingridients needed to cook the Paella, the Sangría, but also a few aperitives.
Step 2: 5 minutes walk to the restaurant.
Step 3: Let´s cook! The chef and your guide will explain how to cook the best Paella and Sangria. We will cook an Alicante version of Paella with red shrimps and cuttlefish. Be ready to cut, grate, peel, etc. This is a workshop, so be ready to cook.
Step 4: Eat and drink, salud! We will have lunch all together the Paella, Sangria and the aperitifs we have cooked.
Other than the Paella and the Sangría, you will also have traditional hight quality apetitifs which are: Alicante tomato salad (with traditional salted fish), cold meets from Pinoso (a region in Alicante province) and Iberian ham (jamón ibérico). We will also provide you with the paella and sangría recepies, so you can cook it at home.
This is the best gourmet experience to know firsthand the gastronomy and culture of Alicante!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE PAELLA & SANGRÍA COOKING EXPERIENCE
The experience is thought so everyone cooks, but we do not force anyone. If you are willing to cook, bring comfortable clothes that could eventually get a stain.
We are super sorry, but this tour is not recommended for vegetarians, since we will be cooking a red shrimp and cuttlefish paella. If you have any food alergy, please, let us know, but please understand that we can not change the flavour of the Paella, unless it is a private activity.

We spend an hour buying the best quality products for our Paella and Sangría, but also, a few apperitifs.
Let´s cook!
This is an Experience! Be ready to cook, since you will be cutting, peeling, grating and so along with a local guide and a local chef. (We do not force anyone though, hehe)
Yummy!
After cooking, we have to eat and drink it all, of course! You will leave the tour completly full!
Drinks included!
We recommend you to drink the homemade sangría we will prepare. However, if you would like something else to drink: wine, beer, soft drinks, water, are also included.
Cold sausages from Pinoso
Other than Paella and Sangría, we also include a few aperitifs, as cold sausages from an Alicante region called Pinoso.
Iberian Ham
Other than Paella and Sangría, we also include a few aperitifs, as one of the best quality Iberian Ham. Jamón ibérico, as we call it.
Tomato salad with Salazón
Other than Paella and Sangría, we also include a few aperitifs, as tomato salad with salazón (salted fish). Don´t worry, we won ´t present it as you see on the pic.
